It’s not often that an
Alaska historian’s work is written about in a Norwegian magazine…but Katie
Ringsmuth now has that distinction. Tunnel
Vision, her 2012 book about pioneer miners Martin and Augusta Radovan, was
recently featured in Ringerikes Blad,
a daily published in the town of Hønefoss. Augusta was from Norway, hence the local interest, and came to Alaska via Hawaii and Seattle in the early twentieth century.
Congratulations, Katie!
